Ricoh GXR Digital Camera + 50mm f/2.5 Macro Lens Unit + 24-72mm Lens Unit
        and high capacity secure digital (hcsd) cards.gif)
The Ricoh GXR is a unique camera system that consists of a body and separate camera units. Each camera unit contains a lens, an image sensor of optimum type and size for the unit, and an image processing engine. In eliminating the traditional lens mount and SLR-style mirror, the GXR achieves a very compact design that combines perfectly-matched system components ensuring high-quality images. One of the advantages of this system is that it eliminates the problems associated with dust on the camera’s sensor as the interchangeable lens and sensor are integrated into a single sealed unit.

The light and strong magnesium-alloy camera body also sports a high-resolution 3.0” 920K LCD screen that is ideal for framing and reviewing your photos. Or utilise the optional VF-2 detachable LCD viewfinder (sold separately) that has 100% field of view, 920,000-dot resolution, and tilts up for low-angle shooting.
Movie Feature (with 50mm Lens Unit) – captures HD video with audio at up to 1280x720 resolution at 24 frames/sec. The maximum length for one instance of movie recording is 90 minutes or a file size upper limit of 4GB.
Movie Feature (with 24-72mm Lens Unit)– captures video with audio at up to 640x480 resolution at 30 frames/sec. The maximum length for one instance of movie recording is 90 minutes or a file size upper limit of 4GB.

When RAW is selected, this is the compression rate for the simultaneously recorded copy. |
|
* |
For shooting capacity, the number of stillimages and movie time are estimates. |
|
* |
Movies may be up to 90 minutes in length or 4 GB in size. |
|
* |
The number of exposures remaining as shown on the picture display may differ from the actualnumber because image file size varies depending on the subject. |
|
* |
The shooting capacity for number of still images and movie recordingtime may vary depending on the capacity of the recording media (internal memory or SD memory card), the shooting conditions, and thetype and manufacturer of the SD memory card. |
|
* |
A high-speed memory card is recommended when shooting for long periods. |

* |
When RAW is selected, this is the compression rate for the simultaneously recorded copy. |
|
* |
For shooting capacity, the number of still images and movie time are estimates. |
|
* |
Movies may be up to 90 minutes in length or 4 GB in size. |
|
* |
The number of exposures remaining as shown on the picture display may differ from the actual number because image file size varies depending on the subject. |
|
* |
The shooting capacity for number of still images and movie recordingtime may vary depending on the capacity of the recording media (internal memory or SD memory card), the shooting conditions, and the type and manufacturer of the SD memory card. |
|
* |
A high-speed memory card is recommended when shooting for long periods. |
|
* |
For other compression rates please check the website. |
